The series of soft-cover, pocket-sized books entitled “Direct Diagnosis in Radiology” currently contains 10 titles (ie, separate books). There are 4 of these that are germane to neuroradiology. *Brain Imaging* (Sartor, et al), *Spine Imaging* (Imhof, et al), *Head and Neck Imaging* (Moedder, et al), and *Vascular Imaging* (Wolf, et al). In addition, this series of books from Thieme includes separate volumes on *Musculoskeletal Imaging* (Reiser, et al), *Urogenital Imaging* (Hamm, et al), *Pediatric Imaging* (Staatz, et al), *Cardiac Imaging* (Clausen, et al), *Breast Imaging* (Fischer, et al), and *Gastrointestinal Imaging* (Brambs). The 4 books relative to neuroradiology have been reviewed and appear on the *AJNR* Website under “Books Briefly Noted”. The format is the same in all the volumes with easy-to-read bullet points and pertinent images on the most commonly encountered entities in each area. A departmental library would be served well by having this series of books readily available to trainees and staff. * Copyright © American Society of Neuroradiology
