Final Diagnosis: Colloid Cyst

Imaging Findings:
Brain MRI demonstrates a tiny unilocular cystic lesion along the roof of the third ventricle with (A) subtle T2-FLAIR hyperintense signal and (B) T1 signal isointense compared with white matter. C) There is no enhancement of the lesion. There is no mass effect or hydrocephalus.
Subsequent histology performed during postmortem brain dissection identified a 2-mm cyst at the foramen of Monro containing proteinaceous content (D). A gross pathology photo similarly revealed a visible lesion to correlate with the aforementioned findings (E).
