- Functional MRI Shows Altered Deactivation and a Corresponding Decrease in Functional Connectivity of the Default Mode Network in Patients with Gliomas
Task-based fMRI showed impaired deactivation of the default mode network in patients with gliomas. The functional connectivity of the default mode network in both task-based and resting-state fMRI in patients with gliomas using the posterior cingulate cortex identified in task-based fMRI as an ROI for seed-based correlation analysis has strong overlap.
- MTT Heterogeneity in Perfusion CT Imaging as a Predictor of Outcome after Aneurysmal SAH
Heterogeneity of MTT in CTP after aneurysmal SAH correlates with patient outcomes. Because the findings are in line with the pathophysiologic concept of the capillary transit time heterogeneity, future studies should seek to verify the coefficient of variation for MTT as a potential imaging biomarker for outcome.

Blood oxygen level-dependent asynchrony radiographically discriminates meningioma grade and may provide targets for biopsy collection to aid in histologic diagnosis.
